Beginner Mindfulness Meditation Group for Adults
For adults who are ready to go from grappling with stress to viewing life as an adventure!
What to Expect from Group:
- Designed for adults (18+) who are seeking to learn and practice mindfulness meditation
- Learn to respond to stress proactively with peer support rather than trying to ignore it
- Meet in-person for four weeks
- Part of group will be sharing with one another, discussing concepts, and providing encouragement and support.
About the Therapist:
Dr. Joe Rhinewine is a licensed psychologist with more than 25 years experience teaching mindfulness meditation. He received his PhD from Kent State University in 2004 and began practicing as a therapist and mindfulness instructor in Oregon in 2006. He is a member of the Zen Community of Oregon where he has practiced Zen meditation since 2005. When not working, he can be found spending time with his wife and two kids, playing music with friends or hiking on one of Oregon's beautiful trails.
